Received mine, very nice, I am mostly happy with it. It's the closest I have ever seen to getting an actual mini vernier calipers in my pocket. I have some suggestions that you can strive to if you attempt a version 2. First, the only thing that seems to be missing from a full size caliper is the thumb wheel. If you could design a small thumb wheel that would work it would be so awesome. Second, the set screw needs an o-ring at the very least, maybe a set pin so it doesn't unscrew fully and fall out. And the third is more abstract, strive for better accuracy. This is fairly accurate, for what it is, but people will pay lots of money for that last little bit of accuracy increase. IMO ditch all this multi-tool crap and focus on what could be a real dedicated tool.

Don't stress the minority racist a-holes! You created an excellent product and should be proud. Yes, things could have different, but that is progress.

Finally, could you tell us the size of the set screw? I'm hoping it's like a common M2 so if we ever lose it, it could be easily replaced.

Thank you, you are in an almost impossible position, you have to do your best to keep us happy, and try and calm down the trolls, I was not constrained as you are, and was able to speak my mind.

I received my Calipers today. First look the machining is good and feels solid. Some people complaining about their hash marks not being CNC but I'm fine with the scale lasered on. I have tested and validated mine they all measure up. I was testing them with Lock cylinder pins so they come in .005 of an inch. They were measuring spot on. People asking about the vernier scale not matching up with the main scale I don't think are used to reading this style of caliper... The hash marks are supposed to be off from the main scale only one lines up when measuring.
